🎯 Purpose and Principles
This license defines the collaborative, open spirit of Équnité — a platform for community-driven knowledge and transparency in volleyball.
- Contributors remain protected and properly credited.
- Sharing is safe from exploitation.
- Content forms an open commons that cannot be privatized retroactively.
This license does not replace platform terms of use, privacy policy, or moderation guidelines, which are provided separately but describe general approach to the content and relationships between Équnité, contributors and users.

PLANIPIX funds, operates, and maintains technical and strategic responsibility for Équnité. In other words the brand name belongs to PLANIPIX as a initial developer.

This license grants everyone the freedom to:

👥 Contributor Protection
- Contributors keep moral rights to their work.
- Content cannot be repurposed for private/closed use against platform principles.
- PLANIPIX guarantees ongoing openness and public access.
- If Équnité closes, published content that was not initially behind the restricted access remains open. Regarding other content category will be applied French law and GDPR.
🔒 Private & Restricted Content
Some areas (internal reports, sensitive materials) are restricted to verified users and not covered by this license.
Redistribution and providing access to the third parties is forbidden.
💶 Commercial Use and Donations
- Third-party commercial use of Équnité content is strictly prohibited.
- Donations to Équnité are processed as commercial income of PLANIPIX, not as nonprofit gifts. For the non-profit there should be opened a separate association management of which at the moment brings costs without benefits. The organisation form of Équnité can be changed in the future to better reflect it goals and nature.
- Équnité transactions are remain open under periodical reports such as money spent money collected or allocated. Some part of the information (not the amount of money) can be omitted to increase safety of the platform from exploitation of software and hardware vulnerabilities as well as commercial interests of PLANIPIX from exploitation by the competitors.
- UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL Équnité / PLANIPIX HAVE ANY LIABILITY TO THE users
FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCURRED AS A RESULT OF THIS
AGREEMENT OR RELIANCE ON ANY TERMS OR RIGHTS PROVIDED HEREIN.

This ensures Équnité’s sustainability and transparency, compliant with French commercial law.
🔁 Upstream Sharing Requirement (Équnité Return Clause)
In addition to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, any Modified Material (including adaptations, updates, or derivative works) must be submitted to Équnité within 30 calendar days of its distribution or public use.
Submission must be made via the official platform or designated channels specified by Équnité. This ensures the community benefits from ongoing improvements and promotes collaborative integrity.
🏛️ Governance and Founder’s Rights
Équnité™ is an open and collaborative project, initially stewarded by PLANIPIX. As the founding organization, PLANIPIX sets the strategic direction, maintains core infrastructure, and safeguards the project’s vision and brand.
While PLANIPIX retains decision-making authority during the early stages, Équnité is committed to evolving an open governance model.
A formal community governance framework will be established in a dedicated charter as the contributor base grows.
🔄 Amendments
PLANIPIX may update this license for technical or community needs, only in ways that keep contributor freedoms and platform openness.
All changes will be published transparently.
